He was arrested on multiple charges, including boating under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and manslaughter.
February: Boating Collision in the Keys
An 18-year-old Miami-Dade senior was killed when the boat he was a passenger in struck a channel marker in the Keys. The collision caused the youth and two other people to be thrown off of the boat. The senior suffered “fatal injuries to his lower body,” according to NBC Miami.
January: Personal Watercraft & Boating Collision
A 21-year-old man saved the life of a person thrown from his personal watercraft after being hit by a fishing boat. The yacht deckhand jumped into action after watching the accident unfold. The victim was unconscious, ultimately suffering from fractured vertebrae and a 10-centimeter gash, as reported by CBS Miami.
