Born in St. Martin, but raised in Miami, Florida, Charlotte has always felt a strong connection to the South Florida community. After graduating high school, Charlotte attended the University of Florida where she received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminology, with minors in Communication Studies and Business Administration. At the University of Florida, she dedicated significant time to Dance Marathon, a philanthropic organization. Her passion for the Miracle Network community was solidified after she completed the 26.2-hour dance marathon her freshman year with a torn Achilles tendon. After graduating from the University of Florida, Charlotte ventured out-of-state to attend Wake Forest University School of Law.
At Wake Law, she joined the Latinx Law Student Association, Women in Law organization and Journal of Law & Policy. During her second summer of law school, Charlotte interned as a Law Clerk with Mase Seitz Briggs and assisted on sex assault, slip-and-fall and other personal injury cases. She spent her last year of law school expanding her education in the torts realm by taking products liability and a toxic torts class.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoys being walked by her two large dogs, boating, and travelling. Charlotte is also fluent in Italian and Spanish.
